Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; But by the moments that take our breath away…..
When was last time something took your breath away? When was the last time you felt like “this is it!”?
Everyday, try and find moments where you can find yourself. These drops of small precious moments can build ocean of Joy for lifetime.
Love and that’s a ton of it dear ones!
Suresh

This is a really beautiful shot.. you have a couple of dust bunnies on the right hand, though..
Great title as ever, Suresh! You are truly a master of paradoxical phrases.
The picture is breath-taking peaceful, but some joy is missing to me…
Axinia and Aworan, Based on your observation – I have changed my picture- Hope you like this one!
I agree with Axinia comments – you are master of titles. I also agree with her comment that your earlier photo lacked little joy but this photo is much better,
Way to go !
Beautiful photo! wonderful capture!
Somehow I thought You would write on Woman on woman’s day , So I was kind of dissapointed to find no article from you on woman.

Who is this quote by,
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. “
wonderful moments captured in time
Thank you
can you please explain this in detail
I am interested in putting quotes together with photographs. Is there anything in copyright law that prohibits photographers from doing so, as long as the author is mentioned?
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we takebut by the moments that take our breath away. – Hilary Cooper
Suresh, I am trying to find the author of the quote you used here – “Life is not measured….” do you know?
Thanks
Lonn
It seems most of the credit given for this quote cannot be confirmed. Many people’s names have been put to this but no one can confirm origin, I believe.
I’ve been using this quote on my email for years now.I have been trying to find a pictute ( Black/White ) with this quote for my livingroom. As I have been liing my life around this quote.Do you have any ?
Hilary Cooper, Maya Angelou, and George Carlin did not write this quote.
It was published in a Carleton greeting card in the 1970′s. At that point , Carleton paid anybody for their ” verse” and the company retains the copyright.
I’m really tired of everyone bastardizing this quote and using such a pure thought for profit.
is it for real??
to tell u the truth last night i was watching “hitch” the movie.ive heard it from that movie & i liked it alot.
Thank you! This is the most helpful clue I’ve been able to find yet. Snopes.com agrees that this was not by George Carlin. In fact, the longer piece that it is attached to was previously stated (at least in germ) by comedian Larry Miller. The Maya Angelou quotation pages all connect it with “I Know Why a Caged Bird Sings.” Since I don’t have that book I can’t confirm whether it’s in there, but that doesn’t guarantee authorship. She may have just been passing it on. I’d very much appreciate more deatil about the Carleton card.
